Frequently Asked Questions

The most common reason is that your Instagram account needs to be connected to a Facebook Page. Here's how to fix it:

  • Make sure you have a Facebook Page (as oposed to a personal profile)
  • Connect your Instagram account to your Facebook Page in your Instagram settings
  • Ensure your Instagram account is set to a Business account
  • Now, go to your Facebook Page, where you can see it's posts / feed
  • Press on Settings in the left menu
  • Again to the left, choose "Linked accounts". Here, you can connect your Instagram account to your Facebook Page.
  • If this is the first time you connect you Facebook Page, Meta may need 24hrs to process these new changes. If it still doesn't work after this, try disconnecting and reconnecting in Facebook/Instagram settings.

Business Instagram accounts require a Facebook Page for connection. This is a requirement set by Meta.

To find out which Facebook Page is associated with your Instagram account:

  • Go to your profile on the Instagram app.
  • Tap the Menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner.
  • Go to Settings.
  • In the Accounts Center section at the top, tap Accounts Center.
  • Tap on Accounts & profiles.
  • You should see your Instagram account and the linked Facebook account and profile.

Connecting your Instagram account requires the "business management" permission on Facebook. This is a requirement set by Meta.

This permission (along with the other permissions we ask for) is not enough to change anything on your account or business.
It solely allows us to show you your own data.
We use it to show you your Facebook Pages, so you can choose the one associated with your Instagram account.

To find out which Facebook Business is associated with your Facebook Page:

  • Go to your Facebook Page, where you can see your posts
  • To the left, there is a Settings menu item. Open that.
  • Again to the left, choose "Linked accounts". Here, you can connect your Instagram account to your Facebook Page.
  • On Instagram, go to https://accountscenter.instagram.com/ and see your connected Facebook Page.

You need to connect your Instagram account to view your media kit. The media kit displays your real Instagram insights and posts.

If you've already connected Instagram but don't see data:

  • Wait a few minutes for data to sync
  • Refresh the page
  • Make sure your Instagram account has posts and followers
  • Check that your account is set to Business

You need a Business Instagram account to use Kreators. Personal accounts don't have access to the insights data we need.

To convert your account:

  • Go to Instagram Settings → Account
  • Select "Switch to Professional Account"
  • Choose Business
  • Complete the setup process

Insights data comes directly from Instagram's API. If data seems off:

  • Instagram needs at least 100 followers to provide detailed insights
  • Data may take 24-48 hours to update from Instagram
  • Some metrics are only available for recent posts (last 30 days)
  • Ensure your account has been a Business account for at least a few days
  • Ensure your account has insights in the Instagram app

You can disconnect your Instagram account from the Mediakit in the app. Look for the "Edit" section, then find your connection in its "Cover" section and press the cross.

You can also revoke access directly in your Facebook settings:

  • Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
  • Find "Kreators" and remove access
  • This will disconnect both Facebook and Instagram

Currently, you can connect one Instagram account per Kreators account. If you need to switch accounts:

  • Disconnect your current Instagram account
  • Connect the new Instagram account
  • Your media kit will update with the new account's data

We fetch your latest posts from Instagram. If posts aren't showing:

  • Make sure your posts are public (not in a private account)
  • Wait a few minutes after connecting for posts to load
  • Refresh the media kit page
  • Ensure your account has recent posts (within the last 6 months)
  • Your posts are actual posts (as opposed to stories or reels)
  • Your Instagram account, Facebook Page and Facebook Business account are all more than 72 hours old (Meta has a latency in processing new accounts)

Your media kit data updates daily. However, Instagram insights may have a 24-48 hour delay (this is a limitation on Instagram)

Yes, we take your privacy seriously:

  • We only access the data you explicitly grant permission for
  • Your data is used solely to create your media kit
  • We don't post to your Instagram or Facebook accounts
  • You can disconnect at any time to revoke access
